New Must See TV Thursday

October 2006: NBC has changed the 2 hour comedy block on Thursday night. After My Name Is Earl and The Office, NBC is adding 30 Rock followed by the return of Scrubs. This new line up will begin airing November 30.

Goin' To The Chapel

October 2006: Jaime Pressly, who plays Earl's ex-wife Joy, has confirmed that she is engaged but not pregnant. Eric Cubiche, an LA based DJ, popped the question on the weekend of October 14. The two have been friends for more than 10 years, but started dating officially last year. No wedding plans are currently being made. The couple is taking it slow and enjoying their engagement.

Earl Wins 4 Emmys

New Season of My Name Is Earl

NBC has slated My Name Is Earl to begin airing Thursday, September 21

Earl is "life-affirming" TV

July 2006: Earl wins a Humanitas award. This award is a cash prize and given to television shows and film that are life affirming. Bascially, using their powerful medium in a humanistic way. Earl won $10,000 for the 30 minite Pilot and showing us "how we can right our wrongs". Go figure!

Parental Discretion for Earl's DVD

Although karma is a nice family friendly message, the cast gets pretty adult behind the scenes. Ethan Suplee, "Randy", made mention of this on press day. He's just trying to look out for his fans. Be fore-worned.

Season 2 of Earl

February 2006: It's official. Earl will return for Season 2 and 22 new karma packed episodes.

Jason Lee Contagious

Janaury 2006: If you see Jason Lee on the street, don't shake his hand, at least not for a few weeks. The poor guy has confirmed that he has Chicken Pox. A disease that his producers say he caught from Charlie Sheen. Feel better Jason.

Earl wins at the People's Choice Awards

January 2006: My Name Is Earl won the award for Favorite New Television Comedy.

Jason Lee was nominated for a Golden Globe in the category of Best Performance by an Actor in a Television Series. The Show was also nominated for a Golden Globe in the category Best Televison Series - Musical or Comedy
